Group Project-Geometry and Biology

I participated in the “Women in Math” workshop in University of British Colombia summer 2018. We learnt about hyperbolic space in our first week session and presented a group project in the end. Our group examined part of the paper Pattern Formation in Biology, Vision and Dynamics. (page 65-82) This paper mainly talked about how hyperbolic space can be seen in the growth of organism.
